Sticky sessions
Keep the same IP across requests with a session id and a lifetime.
Without a session, every request gets a new IP. Add _s_ to the username to keep one IP:
acme_net_res_c_de_s_checkout7_ttl_30m| Token | Values | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
_s_ | 1–25 letters and digits | The session id. You choose it; the same id gives the same IP while the session lives. |
_ttl_ | 1m to 24h, with m, h or d | How long the session lives. Default 10m. Only valid together with _s_. |
- Use a different id for each identity you want to keep apart; reuse an id to continue as the same one.
- A session starts with its first connection. Nothing has to be created through the API first.
- On the residential network a session lasts at least 3 minutes, also when a shorter time is asked for.
From the list endpoints
session=sticky (the default) returns strings that each carry their own session id; session=rotating returns strings without one.
